[Erskine, you absolute doll. Cause it's not like Cho has an oral fixation or anything. Nope. Not at all. XD
Important questions!
1. What do they taste like? 2. Is there any indication what store they came from so she knows where to get more? 3. Is there any indication of who the sender is?]
1. These are some high-end, expensive-ass lollipops, so nothing tacky and overpowering. Other than that, I leave it up to you :) 2. Nope! But... 3. Yes. And if she asks he'll let her know where to get more :)
In that case, a couple of days later Erskine will get a package delivered to him of linzer cookies shaped like stars with a variety of jam centers, since she doesn't know what his favourite is. Probably at least two dozen with four different jams.
Also a little note:
Erskine, Already enjoying my treat more than I should, so I hope you enjoy yours just as much. I'm so grateful to have someone like you in my life. love, Cho
Several of them. If that was meant as a verbal reasoning analogy, and therefore you are eating the cookies, I'd like to point out that your objection is most likely invalidated by your voluntary consumption.
[At some point in the day or two leading up to Christmas, there's a delivery for Cho. A beautifully wrapped gift box contains two gorgeous hair accessories made of seashells, the product of some dedicated Eudio artisan with a shop down by the seaside near Erskine's pub. There's also a flower arrangement from Klaus's flower shop.
Along with the box and the flowers there's a card. Inside the card in Erskine's handwriting it says, simply:
Cho is utterly delighted with the flower arrangement. It's beautiful and it smells absolutely heavenly. The box, she takes a little more time with. She hefts its almost non-existent weight in her hands, shakes it very gently, and considers. After a few moments, she walks over to a small tabletop tree, not quite traditional Christmas fare, and places the box underneath it. She's spending the holiday alone, all of her normal traditions being on the quiet and emotionally intimate side, and no one in the city to really share them with. So she just curls up with a reindeer cookie and a mug of cider and listens to some cheesy holiday music while she watches her kitten bat at paper ornaments.
Maybe the fact that she doesn't plan to send their gifts right along won't be the worst thing if she doesn't open Erskine's?. Maybe they'll forgive her being tardy if they all have the pleasure of being able to open gifts with friends. Yes. That sounds like a plan.
[Cho is caught between distress that her friend looks like he's in such rough shape, and happiness to see him, to see that he's back, even though she never knew he was gone.]
You didn't have to do that. You're so sweet.
[She will not ask him if he's all right, no matter how much she wants to.]
You don't have to bring it over. I'm sure it can wait? You look like what you really need is a good night's sleep.
[No, it's not the same as asking if he's all right. It's dancing around the subject and really hoping that he'll offer the information himself, but she's not outright asking. She's also not that great at being subtle when she's worried.]

I'm going back home. Will you miss me?

Re: audio;
Why? Wanna meet?
Re: audio;
Were you?
[She sounds a little hurt at the notion. Jason means a lot to her. The thought that she might not mean something to him stings a little.]

I went home for a little while earlier this month. We have a gift-giving holiday this time of year, too, and I brought something back for you.

I could have just had it delivered, but that seemed rather impersonal.
And maybe he didn't really want to spend the holidays alone, but he wasn't going to admit that.]

[Not like he's found a good night's sleep easy to get.]
I appreciate you worrying about me, but I'll be fine. It's just been more difficult to adjust after going home and returning than I expected.
[It's an understatement, but it's not actually a lie.]
But if you're busy, of course it can wait.

[Though if he doesn't want to let that stop him, she's certainly not going to force the issue.]
Tonight?
